Keynote Speaker

WPA is pleased to announce the speaker for the graduate event, Chandler Forbes. Chandler grew up in a Wisconsin homeschooling family, attended Calvin College, and graduated from Compass Film School, both in Grand Rapids, MI. He worked in the film-making business for several years. He is presently managing a filming studio for a company that supplies equipment for lighting and co-owns a massage business. Chandler’s life is an example of how a lifestyle of learning at home can lead to wonderful opportunities in technical fields.

Breakout Sessions

Working Together: The history and future of WPA and how you can get involved, the role and responsibilities of support groups, and contacting your legislators.
Nuts and Bolts: How to homeschool legally in Wisconsin, frequently asked questions, current homeschooling issues.
Homeschooling High School: A panel discussion with homeschooling parents and teens about high school, transcripts, scholarships, and more.
