Homeschooling is no different from any other topic you can Google: there is a lot of information out there and only some of it is reliable.

Does the information cite to or align with the language of the law?

Is the information from a national group, a private for-profit source, an individual selling their “expertise,” or a nonprofit group with unclear policy goals or funding sources?
Does this information benefit a small group, a single faith, or those pushing for a particular federal policy?

Is the information presented as sensational, emotional, or in a similar click-bait context?
Is the information colored by a personal agenda or singular experience unrelated to Wisconsin law?
Is the source selling you a product or service, or asking for your private information?
