Wisconsin law requires that children admitted to an elementary, middle, junior or senior high school or into any day care center or nursery school present evidence that they have received certain immunizations. However, this requirement is waived if parents object to immunization “for reasons of health, religion or personal conviction.” (See Appendix A.) Home-schoolers who are asked about immunization can explain that their homeschool is the school of record and has the evidence of immunization or the waiver on file.
